Weekly Report: 05/13/02
This week we decided to make the squares in aprox 12 by 12. Everyone seems ready to start cutting material
and putting our treasures on the blocks. Connie is checking into some local stores to try and get material. I took pics for
sample quilts, and Fallin and connie voluntered to be sewers (if we go that route) We have all made suggestions for the poll
on where to donate the finished quilt. "Check the poll page."
Next we are going to decide the colors and the dividers and little squares. And decide on what to put in the
block in the center. Those taking part in the quilt this week.

Updates:
06/15/02 Connie received the material, and cut it into 10 and 1/2 squares. Fallin Snow has completed the center
cross stitching of the words that will appear there. Unchained Spirit has joined in on making squares. Connie and Rhonda has
completed blocks, using iron on's, and paint. Two of the squares was done by connie's kids. (too cute!) We have decided to
donate the completed quilt to a domestic violence shelter. And the colors to be used for the dividers is Purple for the long,
(dv color) And yellow for the little squares. Until the next update, Hope to see you there! (((hugs)))
6/25/02 The blocks are comming along nicely.
Rhonda, has finished her blocks, and will be getting some extra. Aunt,
has drawn some pics on the blocks for us, and rhonda will paint them. :0) Fallin Snow is working on her blocks and will be sending
some, in the mail soon. Connie, is working on our freedom blocks, and taking pics of hers and rhonda's for the blocks
pages. And will be mailing them soon, so the assembly of the blocks can begin. Tell next time!! ((((hugs))))
